Caring for our weavers & artisans, customers (guest), and communities
Loomfolks is an organisation that is built around a Family-First philosophy, and never has it been more important for each and every one of us to take care of each other, as we would our own family. We have made important changes to our behaviour and interactions, to protect each other and our weavers , artisans communities from the spread of COVID-19.
COVID-19 is our common enemy, and the only way we can combat this virus is by working collectively and playing our individual part to slow its spread so that we can quickly come through this together. For Loomfolks, acting in unity is strength and health.
At Loomfolks we are deeply committed to protecting the wellbeing of our family of employees, and our ecosystem of customers (guest), weavers, artisans and shareholders worldwide. While this is not business as usual—it must also be business as usual as we continue to deliver on the commitments we have to our customers (guest) around the world.
Like many other organisations, we are proactively planning, and quickly processing ever-changing information in real-time, to ensure we are adhering to the latest guidance from the World Health Organisation as well as national and local authorities where our operations hubs are located.
To protect the health and safety of our people, weavers, artisans play our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19, and ensure the continuity of our business we have:
We have temporally closed all 3 of our operations (Mumbai, Kolkota, Bihar) hub with immediate effect;
Mandated a work from home policy and enabled our entire workforce to work from the safety and security of their homes;
Continued to provide our guest around the world the same level of service excellence expected of Loomfolks, with little to no disruption;
Supported weavers & artisans with financial aid to sustain this difficult situation bcz most of their loom stoped production due to COVID-19 crisis.
Suspended all domestic and international events and trade fairs where Loomfolks and team where scheduled to take part;
Established multiple communication mechanisms to keep our weavers and artisans community engaged and connected, including regular video messages and providing a centralised email / whatsapp help center where they can ask questions or voice concerns and get rapid responses 24/7.
Rest assured that even as we deal with the uncertainties this pandemic brings each day, our Fresh , Fearless Loomfolks team remain fully dedicated to the success of our weavers, artisans and customer (guest). Our customer support remains accessible and available to you 24/7.
As COVID-19 continues to spread across the world, affecting us all personally, professionally and profoundly, our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by this virus. We hope everyone is staying safe and staying indoors as we all work through this challenging situation that has caught us all off guard.
